Premiere Pro: Step-by-Step Tutorial for Importing AI-Generated SRT Subtitles
After exporting an SRT file from the Subanana subtitle platform, besides using it for YouTube's CC (Closed Captions), many users choose to burn the subtitles into the video using Premiere Pro (PR). This time, we'll teach you how to embed subtitles in Premiere Pro.
-
First, select your target video and drag it into the workspace on the right (the timeline), then drag the SRT file into the workspace on the left (the project panel).
-
The most important step is to correctly align the start time of the subtitles. Image

Next, drag the SRT file to the desired position on the timeline, then click the Playhead.
-
Edit the text in the top-left panel (the Text/Captions panel). By clicking on the subtitle track, you can choose the font in the top-right panel (the Essential Graphics panel).
-
Select the sequence containing both the video and subtitles, and click "Export Media". Then, choose your desired format.
