More October improvements: getting started, meetings, shared projects and Reflow

TL;DR

  • New accounts pick what they came to do, and a Get started checklist on Home tracks the first steps.
  • Meetings: result emails now also list open questions, and on a recurring meeting you can set recording for one meeting or the whole series.
  • Shared with me now sits in the sidebar, and the latest projects shared with you show on Home.
  • Reflow opens at a line length that suits Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Getting started

  • When you sign up, you first pick what you came to do.
  • A Get started checklist on Home shows your first steps and how many are done.

Meetings

  • When a meeting recording is ready, the result email shows its action items, summary and decisions, and now its open questions too.
  • To stop this, turn off Include meeting notes in result emails in Settings.
  • On a recurring meeting, the recording switch now asks where to apply your choice: This meeting only, or This and future meetings in this series.
  • Before you save, you see how many meetings will change. Meetings with their own choice keep it unless you choose to replace it.

Shared projects

  • Shared with me now sits in the sidebar.
  • Home shows the three latest projects shared with you under Recently shared with me.

Editor

  • Reflow now opens at a length that fits the track's language: 14 characters for Chinese and 13 for Japanese.
  • Korean still opens on words. Switch to characters and it starts at 16.
  • Other languages are unchanged.

To try it: open a Chinese or Japanese project and pick Reflow.
