September improvements: recording, meetings, and setup

TL;DR

  • Recording now opens in a full-page studio, and it tells you when it cannot hear your microphone.
  • Translated meetings export SRT as the original, the translation, or both.
  • Your usual setup: the new-project form fills in the settings you last used.
  • The app is now available in five more languages.

Recording

  • Recording now opens in a full-page studio. Choose screen, camera, both, or audio only.
  • The studio tells you when it cannot hear your microphone, so you can fix it before the recording is lost.

Meetings

  • When a meeting has a translation, SRT export offers three choices: original, translation, or bilingual.
  • The meeting note is now written in the language of the recording.
  • The meeting analysis now reads the whole recording.

Editing and imports

  • If a project is already open for editing in another tab or browser, the new tab tells you. Go back to the first tab, or pick Take over editing.
  • YouTube imports that are interrupted now resume where they stopped, instead of starting over.

Live captions

  • Use Test microphone and connection to check your setup before you go live.
  • Captions on the screen display now flow continuously across two lines.

Setup, checkout, and languages

  • Your usual setup: the new-project form fills in the settings you last used, on any device you sign in on. Pick Start now to go, or Change to adjust.
  • You can start a project on subanana.com before you sign up, then continue in the app.
  • Checkout for plans and credits now happens inside the app.
  • The app is now available in Spanish, German, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai.

To try it: start a new project and pick Start now under Your usual setup.
